Last week I briefly talked about how asking ourselves the right questions leads us to see more clearly the evidence of things going right in our lives and businesses. This is really the beginning when it comes to applying the law of attraction in our lives, as the more we see that is good, the more good comes to us.

But back to the questions. When you are thinking about things, do you listen to yourself? Do you pay attention to your mind? I encourage you to begin to be mindful and really listen to the thoughts that roll through your mind. I know we are all busy, and our minds and brains are amazing, but even in the midst of a conversation you can still pause for two seconds and observe your own thoughts. And when you do, it is in that moment that you can say, “Am I asking myself the right question in this moment?”

What right questions could you ask? Questions like, “What would serve me best for lunch today?” “What would bring me the most energy?” When it comes to growing new habits that support us in managing stress and overwhelm, one of the best habits you can get into is to ask yourself the right questions.

Questions like, “What are my top priorities?” “What has to be done today?” and particularly, “What can I let go of today?” are so important to consider. I especially like the last one – “What can I let go of today?” What can you let go of, really? Sometimes knowing that is more important than knowing what to prioritize.

If you are having an issue with somebody, the question might be, “How can I be the most loving?” or “How can I be of the greatest service?” or even, “How can I get out of this room and take care of myself so I don’t feel all this pressure?”

Whatever the right question is for you is the perfect one. You know what it is. Take a look at what is bothering you and turn it on its head by asking the right question. I like to ask Divine Mother (my vision of God, or a higher power), “What’s the best solution to this?” And then, I surrender. I wait for the answers to appear from my intuition, or however they manifest.
