Put What Matters Most First
Everyone has competing priorities. Welcome to being a human. Since we all have the same number of hours in a day to allocate, you need to figure out where all your time is going.
With the aid of this Lesson’s simple Worksheet, you’ll start to get a handle on this simple and powerful concept.
Add It Up
After you fill in your Worksheet, see how things add up. Are you surprised at what priorities you’ve been neglecting?
We’ve all got the same number of hours in each day: 24. Sleep needs to come out of that so let’s say you need 8 hours of sleep. That leaves 16 hours to fit in everything else you want plus unexpected demands.
Think about the major categories you need to take care of in your life. There’s time for: you, work, family, friends, interests, home, down time and a new concept introduced in this course: Feng Shui Rest Notes. (See your BONUS MODULE for more on Feng Shui Rest Notes.)
100 Doesn’t Equal 16
Many of us are trying to shove 100 hours into a 16-hour box or day.
They’re not going to fit. But your real priorities will fit. Amazingly enough, once you fit your deepest values in, the requirements of your life will fall in afterwards. It doesn’t work if you jam in demands first because there’ll always be more things vying for your attention. You need to take charge and bring your Leader Personality to bear here. She’ll guide you to victory.
Now that you’re getting clear on how you tend to approach time, how you’re currently spending your time and what your heartfelt priorities are, you can begin to get into a Feng Shui aligned relationship with time.
Trust in this process.
