Play with Your Time Puzzle
The title of this Lesson emphasizes an important piece of your time puzzle: play! The more you bring a spirit of fun and joy into your life, the more flow and ease will follow. This holds true even when the stakes seem high and perhaps it’s even called for the most in those situations, such as getting a grasp of your precious time.
Look at the items you identified in Module 2 and 3 about how you’re currently spending your time. You needed to get real with yourself about where your time is going before you could pull together an “ideal” puzzle. It really doesn’t do any good to say something like, “Oh, I wish I could go on more vacations” or “I wish I had more time to spend learning French” if you don’t know where your time is all going.
You’re still going to have to make choices and set priorities. But now you’re able to do so from a place of knowledge and power. You have the knowledge of both what you’re doing and what you want. And you have the power to make a choice as to how you fill your quadrants.
A lot of life is about becoming aware so you can make clear choices. The tools in this course are here to help you gain awareness so you can make the best choices for you. What’s right for you doesn’t have to be right for anyone but you. But with the knowledge you’ve gained here, you can make your choices from a place of understanding.
A Little Game for You
This is meant to be fun as well as useful. Having fun happens more easily when you’ve got a little more breathing room in your life. So I want that for you too and I know that using these tools can bring you that.
Find in your Worksheet below pieces that represent tasks and values. Print and cut these out.
You can write your own unique priorities on the provided blanks, as many as you want. Fit them together and create your own time vision board puzzle to encourage you to fill your time puzzle with what matters the most to you. Go even further and laminate your pieces and play with them.
It’s been proven that writing something down and visually taking it in helps manifest things. This simple process works.
Be sure to include both down time and Feng Shui Rest Notes you learned about in this course in your newly solved puzzle.
NOTE: See your BONUS Module for more on Feng Shui Rest Notes. If you like, you can read that section now.
